Clues:

remove all the torx headed screws, including the two recessed ones at the back next to the hinges. Then, & this took a while to find, spring off the plastic surround to the lock using two screwdrivers top & bottom. This will reveal another torx headed screw which needs taking out. The glove box can then be lifted out, disconnecting the light wiring along the way.
